Interim management
Collins Consulting has access to a wide range of interim managers who can fill senior executive positions either in a functional role or to undertake a specific short-term project.
Why do I need an Interim Manager?
An interim manager makes sense when certain management skills are required for a defined period, but where a long-term appointment would be inappropriate. Some possibilities include:
- Functional projects - business restructuring, IT systems implementation, manufacturing, logistics, franchising and licensing agreements, export development, sales and marketing strategies, critical commercial negotiations.
- Relocation, expansion or consolidation of facilities.
- Start-up or closing of a company, subsidiary or division, including privatisation matters.
- Change programs, involving, for example, cultural, product line, efficiency, productivity or profitability improvement changes.
- Short term needs arising from acquisitions or sudden take-over.
What are the benefits of using Interim Management services?
Interim Managers can typically be placed more quickly than permanent appointments, and aren’t bound by some of the political sensitivities that constrain permanent staff. This can make an ideal solution in change management situations.
