Sharon Mackie - Partner

Sharon joined the company in Melbourne in 1986, moved to Sydney as a Director in 1987, and became the Managing Director and major shareholder in 1991.

Under her leadership, the Group developed its reputation for delivering outstanding people who make a difference. Sharon and Annalie jointly run the day-to-day needs of the business and have active consulting roles. Sharon works with a number of key clients within the investment banking, principal and alternative investment space. She has been instrumental in initiating and executing a number of strategic business and team acquisitions for these clients. Sharon brings over 23 years of financial services executive search experience.

Annalie Davies - Partner

Annalie has over 15 years experience working internationally within financial services executive search and is a Partner in the firm.

She joined Collins Consulting in 2004 to establish the Corporate Infrastructure practice. In addition to her overall managerial responsibilities, Annalie now also manages the Funds Management practice.  Within this area she specialises in senior investment professionals across all asset classes as well as covering distribution and product development. 

Annalie previously worked in London for Spencer Stuart as a consultant in the technology, managed services and financial services practices.

Penny Holt - Search Consultant

Penny Holt (BA, LLB, LLM) has more than ten years experience in the human resources industry with expertise including the leadership of contracting, recruitment and senior executive search services. Penny is a particularly strong account manager with an outstanding track record in relationship management. She has worked closely with clients across the professional services and financial services sectors to design and deliver innovative HR solutions, and in particular large scale recruitment projects.

Penny trained and practiced as a Solicitor in NSW and Thailand before joining the recruitment industry in 1994 working in senior management, leadership, business development and consulting positions at Diversiti (an Accenture business), TMP Worldwide, and at Korn/Ferry International.

Penny Mitchell - Senior Associate

Penny joined Collins Consulting Group in 2007 to provide execution support for the funds management and corporate infrastructure practices. She has over eleven years experience in the search industry.  Her previous appointments have been with  global executive search firms and a boutique financial services firm.  

Her recruitment experience spans senior level to executive management and board appointments across banking and financial services, consumer and industrial, higher education, IT and professional services. In addition, Penny has provided clients with market scans, salary surveys and pre-search related activity.

Penny has a Master of Labour Law and Industrial Relations, a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Government and a Diploma of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Sydney.

Christina Neong - Research

Christina is a Research Associate at Collins Consulting Group working directly with Sharon Mackie on Investment Banking, Principal and Alternative Investment assignments.

Previous to Collins, Christina consulted on the Equity desk of an Asia Pacific Executive Search and Selection firm in Sydney working retained mandates for senior appointments including Economists, Strategists and Research/Investment Analysts.

Before joining the search profession, Christina ran the Investment Banking desk for a global specialist recruitment firm where she managed large-scale recruitment projects, initiated tenders and created targeted press campaigns.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and speaks fluent Cantonese.

Kushal Wijesundera - Research

Kushal joins Collins Consulting Group with over six years in Executive Search and Selection having worked for multi-national firms such as Korn Ferry International and Hudson Global Services. His industry focus in executive search was financial services having successfully completed senior appointments within corporate infrastructure and technology for global investment banks, large Australian banks, insurance agencies and fund managers.

Previous to his move into executive search, Kushal spent four years as a Business Analyst working for HSBC Bank Australia and Commonwealth Bank supporting their financial platforms. Having spent over 10 years within the financial services industry in Australia, Kushal has a good understanding of the operations and is able to bring that knowledge into sourcing the right individuals for clients.

Kushal has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Information Systems from University of New South Wales (UNSW) Australia and is presently completing his MBA at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) Australia.
